Paul is a complete programme of seats with elegant proportions and reassuring lines, elements that underscore Vincent Van Duysen’s expressive rationalism. Sophisticated in its simplicity, Paul marks the return to a traditional design medium that blends aesthetic quality and comfort. The project includes linear sofas, corner compositions, large, high comfort chaise longues and islands, elements that are designed to even be placed in the centre of a room. Single seat cushion, a light profile that features the essential, ethereal design of the cast aluminium feet. Deeper elements complete the project focused on high comfort seating in a more luxurious, warm and cosy, restful environment. No azoic dyes are used in the manufacture of the fabric covers.
USE AND MAINTENANCE
This product is intended for use inside the home. Do not jump on structural parts. Avoid maintenance on product parts, contact the retailer for all requirements. Normal wear and tear will result in compression of the padded parts during its lifetime. An unusual smell emitted after the product is unwrapped is harmless and will disappear when it is placed in an aired room. Lift the product to move it to avoid damaging the parts in contact with the floor.
WEEKLY PADDING MAINTENANCE
Beat the seating and back rest cushions by hand taking care to alternate their positions, swapping the more used cushions with those less used. Turn the back rest cushions around every so often (reversible cushions).
To fluff cushions up, shake all sides of the cushion (sides, tops and bottoms). This should be done after removing the cushions from the structure for improved air circulation.
MONTHLY PADDING MAINTENANCE
Remove cushion covers and fluff up as described above. After doing this, leave the upholstered parts to air – in the open if possible – for 30 minutes before replacing the covers.
MAINTENANCE OF FEET
In order to maintain the aesthetic characteristics of these finishes over time and avoid rust, regular, methodical and meticulous cleaning is necessary. For everyday maintenance, dust with a soft dry cloth. For greasy oily marks (fingerprints) we advise cleaning the surfaces with normal liquid detergents for glass. Products containing solvents and/or alcohol and hard fibre cloths (linen and synthetics) should be avoided, as they could ruin and/or scratch surfaces. For the shiny aluminium finish, treat the surface once a month with specific products for cleaning/ polishing metals.
DISPOSAL
Once discarded, neither the product nor its components should be dispersed in the environment, but rather consigned to public disposal systems.
