The remarkable "triple" of three Design Awards won in 2020 is now followed by a much recognized fourth: The German Design Council has awarded the German Design Award 2021 to the successful SieMatic SLX kitchen concept. The SieMatic handle-free kitchen concept has already won the ICONIC AWARD 2020: Innovative Interior as "Best of Best", the iF DESIGN AWARD 2020, and the Red Dot Design Award 2020.

The four awards for the SieMatic SLX now follow on a longer list of top-class honors for SieMatic. For example, the German Design Award 2016 in Gold for the SieMatic 29 or the German Design Award 2019 for the SieMatic PURE Collection. Furthermore, the SieMatic brand was honored with the German Brand Award in gold in 2016 and with the German Brand Award for excellence in branding in 2020.

Fourth award for the handle-free kitchen concept

The German Design Award is the international premium prize of the German Design Council. Its mission: to discover, present and honor unique design trends. Every year, awards are presented to distinguished submissions from the disciplines of product and communication design that are pioneering in the international design landscape.

The German Design Award, initiated in 2012, is one of the most recognized design competitions worldwide and enjoys a high reputation far beyond expert circles. The SieMatic SLX, which now has won four awards, is particularly well suited for the fusion of kitchen and living space. It is just as functional as it is aesthetic, just as much a kitchen as a design object. Behind its refined surfaces, filigree proportions, and transparent surfaces lies the entire SieMatic kitchen expertise: from the just 6.5 millimeter thin elements, to the intelligent interior, to the completely redesigned horizontal and vertical recessed grips with discreetly integrated and individually controllable light strips. The matching glass showcases lend additional lightness - with seemingly floating pull-outs and transparent doors and panels.
