GENERAL INFORMATION
Thanks to an innovatory system that adjusts the back to three positions, settees and armchairs can adopt different conformations, creating seats of various depths and comfort. The seat cushions are reversible. The cushion filling has a central polyurethane foam insert and feathers. The polyurethane foam has variable densities to allow two different versions of seating: hard seat (lounge) or soft seat (comfort). The covers are fully removable. The leather cushions are not reversible. The feet come in shiny stainless steel with a plastic tip, recommended for rugs and carpets; special non-slip felt pads suitable for all surfaces can be added. No azoic dyes are used on the covering fabrics.
USE AND MAINTENANCE
This product is intended for use inside the home. Do not jump on structural parts. Avoid maintenance on product parts, contact the retailer for all requirements. Normal wear and tear will result in compression of the padded parts during its lifetime. An unusual smell emitted after the product is unwrapped is harmless and will disappear when it is placed in an aired room. Lift the product to move it to avoid damaging the parts in contact with the floor.
DISPOSAL
When no longer needed, the product and its components should not be abandoned in the environment but delivered to public waste disposal services.
WEEKLY PADDING MAINTENANCE
Fluff up seat and back cushions by hand, taking care to alternate the seat positions of the cushions used most often with the lesser used ones and periodically turning the seat cushions over (reversible cushions). To fluff
cushions up, shake all sides of the cushion (sides, tops and bottoms). This should be done after removing the cushions from the structure for improved air circulation.
MONTHLY PADDING MAINTENANCE
Remove cushion covers and fluff up as indicated above. After doing this allow them to air, possibly outside, for about 30 minutes before replacing the covers.
1. Remove the cushion and beat the surface with your hand working
from the outside towards the centre.
2. Replace the seat cushion and redistribute the feathers evenly.
3. Beat the seat padding in the front section (all along) so as to restore correct alignment with the cover sections.
4. Remove the single back cushions and beat the outer sections (all
sides) so as to reposition the feathers in the centre of the padding.
5. Place the cushion on a flat surface and distribute the filling from the centre towards the sides.
SHINY STAINLESS STEEL FOOT MAINTENANCE
For ordinary maintenance use a soft dry cloth to remove dust. For greasy/oily dirt (fingerprints) and monthly maintenance treat the surfaces with special stainless steel cleaning/polishing products. Avoid products containing solvent and/or spirit and cloths with hard fibres (linen and synthetic) that could ruin and/or scratch the surfaces.
MOVING BACK
Thanks to an innovatory reclining unit, the settees in the Reversi System offer three sitting positions of different depths and ergonomic configurations. As well as the traditional configuration, there is one for conversation (back in horizontal position) and one for maximum relaxation (back vertical).
